Today, we are submitting our recommendation for a standard to measure downstream Scope 3 emissions for insurers and reinsurers to the GHG Protocol. This recommendation follows the advice of Thierry Langreney to ministers Bruno Le Maire and Christophe Béchu, as part of the mission entrusted to him, as well as to Gonéri Le Cozannet and Myriam Mérad in 2023.
This standard aims in particular to avoid the risk of greenwashing induced by the PCAF project in the same scope.
